The Special Enrollment Period is open for individuals to enroll in a health insurance plan outside of the open enrollment period as long as they can prove they qualify for enrollment at this time. This means an individual has either lost coverage from an employer, has moved to a new service area, has gotten married, had a baby, or other special circumstances that may vary. We need proof of loss of coverage, additions of dependents, etc. to enroll you during this special enrollment period.
Please ask us how to get you enrolled if you are experiencing a qualifying event!
Please keep the following dates in mind:
November 1, 2017 – December 15, 2017 = Coverage begins January 1, 2018
December 16, 2017 – January 15, 2018 = Coverage begins February 1, 2018
January 16, 2018 – January 31, 2018 = Coverage begins March 1, 2018
*After January 31, 2018, no one is allowed to enroll in a health insurance plan UNLESS you experience a qualifying event. Please visit our FAQ page for more information.
